Description
I prepare a laptop with WirePod so you can host your own Vector setup at home. If you already own a Vector robot, this gives it a dedicated laptop host.
What is included
You receive a used laptop prepared with WirePod, its power cable and my setup guides. A Vector robot, cube and robot charging dock are not included.
Before you order
You need your own Vector, an internet connection and a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Follow the included pairing guide to connect Vector to the laptop. Send me your Vector model and a description of your setup if you have questions.
Your WirePod laptop
The laptop is configured for WirePod hosting. Hardware and brand can vary; the Lenovo in the photographs is a representative example. This kit does not include working built-in speakers. Use an external audio device if you need sound from the laptop.
Using WirePod
The prepared interface brings the hosting controls together, with guides for pairing and common setup tasks. The laptop is the host for your robot; it does not replace the robot or its accessories. Ask me about a particular feature before ordering if it is important to your setup.
Used laptop condition
I work with used laptops, so scratches, scuffs and other signs of use may be present. Appearance varies between units. If condition matters for your plans, ask me about the laptop before choosing.
Preparation and shipping
I clean, configure and test each laptop myself. Please allow five business days for preparation before shipment, with carrier transit after that.
