Description
I prepare this Dell Chromebook 3180 with Kali Linux already installed, as a starting point for learning Linux and exploring security tools in your own lab.
What you can use it for
This kit is for Linux and security-tool learning in your own lab. Kali includes specialist tools that take time to learn; use testing tools only on systems you own or have permission to test.
Your laptop
Dell Chromebook 3180 · Intel Celeron N3060 · 4GB RAM · 11.6-inch display. The original internal storage is repurposed for additional usable space.
What is included
You receive the laptop, a new compatible charger and a 64GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 system drive with Kali Linux installed.
Keep the system drive plugged in
The operating system, applications and normal system files run from the supplied USB drive. Leave it in place while the laptop is on. Connect to your Wi-Fi and explore the desktop at your own pace.
Used laptop condition
I work with used laptops, so scratches, scuffs and other signs of use may be present. Appearance varies between units. If condition matters for your plans, ask me about the laptop before choosing.
Preparation and shipping
I clean, configure and test each laptop myself. Please allow five business days for preparation before shipment, with carrier transit after that.
Free USPS Ground Advantage shipping from Melissa, Texas, to all 50 states and Washington, DC, including Alaska and Hawaii. I do not ship to US territories or international destinations.
Returns and questions
I do not accept change-of-mind returns. If your order does not arrive, is damaged or is not as described, please contact me. This policy does not take away your rights under applicable consumer law or eligible PayPal Purchase Protection.
